Thank you for shopping at HikariHarmony. We deeply appreciate your appreciation for the art of Kintsugi. Our pieces are meticulously handcrafted, and we want to ensure you are entirely satisfied with your purchase.

If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase, We invite You to review our policy on refunds and returns.

1. Crafting & Handling Time

Because true Kintsugi is a deliberate and meticulous art form, each piece requires dedicated time to restore, cure, and perfect. Please note that our standard handling and crafting time is 10 to 15 days before your order is ready to be shipped. We appreciate your patience as we ensure your piece meets our highest standards of quality.

2. 5-Day Return Window

We offer a strict 5-day return policy. This means you have 5 days after the date your item is delivered to request a return.

If 5 days have passed since you received your item, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

3. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items (Photo Required)

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged in transit, or if you receive the wrong item.

To initiate a return for a damaged or defective product, you must provide clear photographic evidence.

  • Step 1: Take clear photos showing the defect or damage to the Kintsugi piece, as well as photos of the packaging if it was damaged during shipping.

  • Step 2: Email the photos along with your Order Number and a brief description of the issue to support@hikariharmony.com within the 5-day window.

  • Step 3: Our team will review your request and, if approved, provide you with instructions on how and where to send your package.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return and providing the required photographic proof will not be accepted.

4. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned. Custom products (such as special orders or highly personalized Kintsugi commissions) are strictly non-refundable unless they arrive defective or damaged.

5. Return Shipping Costs

  • For defective/damaged items: HikariHarmony will cover the cost of return shipping. We will provide you with a return shipping label upon approval of your photo evidence.

  • For all other eligible returns: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of original shipping will be deducted from your refund.

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance when returning delicate Kintsugi items. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

6. The Refund Process

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.

  • If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.

  • Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund (typically 3-5 business days).
